Situated very close to Battersea Park, this Victorian terraced house became home to a busy young family.
Refurbished to centre around family life, our brief was to create a personal, fun and homely space whilst maximising comfort and practicality. A crazy “doodle” wallpaper and striped carpet in the hall, stairs and landing set the tone for the house, creating a whimsical, yet practical, core off which all rooms flow.
On the ground floor, antique furniture mixes with modern art and new upholstered sofas and chairs to create a space suitable for family living and entertaining. Upstairs, wallpapers are used in several bedrooms to give each room its own identity and colour palette.
A new kitchen and utility room were installed to incorporate the latest appliances and storage to hide the ever expanding number of coats and school bags! Likewise the garden enjoyed a complete transformation to enable the limited space to be enjoyed to its fullest extent.
